This project will develop a pilot Message Library (ML) for South Sudan focusing on three hazards. The Message Library will help practitioners and clusters to disseminate information in hazardous areas of natural and man-made calamities. It will also help enlighten affected communities by formulating awareness messages and advocacy. The ML translated into local languages will support grass roots communities to address the hazards that occur in their local areas using available resources and knowledge. The consortium on Improving Access to information in disaster and emergency preparedness is led by SAADO with Mentor Initiative & GREDO as the other partners and is funded by the Disaster & Emergency Preparedness Programme funding.
